Title: stay sharp.

Dear Diary,
Sometimes you gotta look sharp, ya know? Today is friday, the 16th. And today is my first day with a hawkers permit shelling outside of Fenway Park in Boston, MA. Shell like a champion today.

Back to things... Friday After Next, my favorite part is when Day-Day and Craig are chasing ODBsanta and being chased by the old man, and they run into the house of the church women, young thugs, and then yound adult thugs. And they get stuck in a room and Craig and Day-Day are getting hit by the pool sticks and other household stuff, and day-day is just going "stop, stop, stop, stop stop..." haha. TOO FUNNY.

"i got my shank, if shits gonna pop off in here..."

This is a polo shirt i was given from my dad, I think it was on a holiday occasion where I was driven straight to the airport. So this might have been christmas '05? oh well, my dad always sets me up with some great apparel when it comes to last minuite things. This shirt fits kinda big cause my dad likes the big fit when it comes to looking sharp. I need to do a segment about my dad and being a true og. his nickname at at&t park is "white fox" and the dude knows soo many people its not even funny. "this is your father, come to me whenever you need anything, ill take care of you." my dad snuck me into the 2002 world series also. thanks again dad.

this shirt is a polo ralph lauren shirt. size xl. laundered? dont know much more about this one.

whats good?

- xxx featuring ice cube
- tim lincecum with the most strike outs of the major league baseball.
- breakfast with ryan hudon.
- apple store on boylston.
- neighborhood lance.

Title: the cards you're delt.

Today I would like to bring everybody up to speed on the San Francisco Giants. They lots 8-7 today against the Houston Astros in a day game at AT&T park. My dad was there to soak up some rays and watch some ball. Giants were up 7-3 and they the 8th innin came around and they relievers fell apart. Brian Wilson does lead the NL in saves, but today it wasn't clicking. Tim Lincecum put together some really good innings, and struck out 10.

Omar Vizquel has been back for a few games and it batting at .385 and is looking like he is back to being a natural. Great performances lately. The rookies Bowker and Velez had some droughts in the offensive department, but are looking to turn it around, and are still composed. Aaron Rowand, has hit 5 home runs and is batting .331 and is starting to find his stride for the season. He started kinda rough, but is finding his place amongst the squad.

Barry Zito is 0-8 but thats another day to discuss.

This shirt is printed on a Majestic brand shirt. 100% cotton. size xl. hot wash and hot dry. black.

A Pizza Segment # 11: Decker

Spot: Jenny's Subs and Pizzas
Location:320 Medford Street, Charlestown MA
Price: 2 slices and a can of soda for $4

Photobucket

Environment:
Jenny's is a really low key spot in Charlestown, MA. I was in Charlestown for work, and my coworker (Scotton) suggested it. Jenny's is a great spot to run out for some quick pizza. They keep the pies coming fresh from what I could tell and there were some characters working when I stopped in. There's no seating inside, but they've got a bench outside (see slice pic). Pretty boring overall environment for such a decent place.

Photobucket

Slices:
Both slices were big. It's unusual to get 2 slices from the same pie that are that big and that consistent across the board. No slice droop on either. For $4, these slices are a steal.

Crust:
Extremely crispy crust, but not overly crispy (thus the no slice droop factor). Made that solid crunching noise when being chomped - A+

Sauce:
The sauce was mid-grade at this spot. Just about in the middle of sweet and zesty, leaning toward zesty. Can't knock this sauce at all. I've come to realize that its extremely tough to find a truly unique sauce. When I come across one, and the slice doesn't droop, it usually signifies a new favorite spot for me.

Uncommon Knowledge:
This was my first visit to Jenny's Subs and Pizza, so I don't really have any uncommon knowledge about this place. Their subs are supposed to be really good, so maybe I'll have to get Jack Daniels to do a Sub Segment #1.

Brass Tax: The Bottom Line
Overall, Jenny's was good. Fast, cheap, tasty ZA. Would eat again. Their crust is what will keep me coming back. This spot is a bit out of the way, but worth a 15 minute trip definitely. Jenny's gets a 7.5/10

First off, Friday After Next is a good movie. Good bad movie. Money Mike kills me. Friday, Next Friday, and Friday After Next are all fucking hilarious.

Ok, back to things...

This is a Bracewar shirt that I obtained at United Blood Festival 2008 from Rashod. Thanks for the look on this shirt. It was either this shirt or the sword/body shirt. Yellow shirts like this are pretty cool and I don't really have a lot. Yellow is a good colorway for a summer time gig.

this shirt is printed on a gildan heavy cotton brand shirt. size xl. yellow. hot wash and hot dry. 100% cotton.

ill take this time to post some random pics:

This Guns Up! Crew shirt is starting to shrink on me maybe? i dont know i wish i had this in a size xl, oh well. today i played basketball it was great. played in some projects up commonwealth ave. good time. raged the boards for a little bit.

Im starting to understand how important the first wash really is for a shirt. On my XL's I need to start nuking them from jump, sometimes a shirt will get away with just a small amount of heat and its not ok. im learning from my mistakes.

This shirt is proudly printed on a triple AAA brand shirt. charcoal. size large. 100% cotton. cold wash, ring out, and hang dry.
